We believe that God has ways for you to impact the world right now!
He has created us to be world changers: people who advance the kingdom through prayer, through giving of our resources, and through going to the places He calls us to go.
This year at World Mandate, we want everyone to have the opportunity to take a step of faith in these areas at Impact Now.
Located at the Waco Convention Center, Impact Now, will be open throughout the conference. Here you will find ways that you can pray for specific things God is doing in the world, give financially to organizations and causes, and actually be part of going to reach the nations.
Causes we are featuring this year:
A21 Campaign- Standing Against Human Trafficking
The A21 Campaign, founded by Christine Caine of Hillsong, Sydney Australia, is committed to abolishing injustice in the 21st Century- specifically targeting the abolishment of human trafficking. The campaign aims to prevent human trafficking, to protect and restore those who have been trafficked and to partner with authorities to fight human trafficking. The A21 Campaign recently purchased a home in the Ukraine which will be home to young women who have been rescued out of this bondage and need a place in which to heal and begin a new life. Our opportunity is to furnish this home by purchasing items from a “virtual gift registry.”
Goal: $20,000 to furnish a home for young women rescued out of human trafficking

Come learn how you or your church can be equipped to respond to domestic and international disasters.

The Global Orphan Project, Inc. is an orphan care project that seeks to mobilize local churches around the world to care for orphaned and vulnerable children, specifically in Africa and Haiti. Ten year old Isabelle Redford has already raised over $100,000 to build orphan homes through the Global Orphan Project by creating greeting cards which have been reprinted and sold. This year she has created a special Limited Edition World Mandate 2011 greeting card available for purchase. There are 300 boxes of cards costing $20 each. When sold-out, one orphan home will be funded.
Goal: Build an orphan home in Haiti or Africa
300 people X $20 = one orphan home
Grace House & Mercy House- Recovery Homes
Grace House and Mercy House are local Waco ministries that work with individuals to help facilitate transformational recovery from bondage and addiction. Through living life in a community environment of discipleship, biblical instruction and counseling, men and women are able to overcome addiction and receive healing through the work of Jesus. Since opening in 2005 and 2009 respectively, Mercy House and Grace House have both seen many people set free from bondage and now living in freedom.
Goal:
Grace House: $7,000 to begin construction on Resurrection House, a transitional home for program graduates
70 people X $100 = freedom in the making
Mercy House: $5,000 for renovations to the house and new curriculum
100 people X $50 = transformation and healing
Haiti Transformed- Send a Child to School
Antioch has been involved in the story of Haiti’s reconstruction and transformation since the earthquake devastated the country in 2010. By generous donations and support, more than 100 homes have been built in the community of LaFeroney and God is transforming this people. For $32 a month, you can sponsor a child in LaFeroney. Sponsorship allows a child to attend a private Christian school, receive free medical care, school books, material for a school uniform and eat one hot meal a day year round. When 100 children are sponsored, this new school can officially open.
Goal: $38,400 to sponsor 100 children and open a school
100 people X $32/month = education, food, clothing, and medical care for 100 children in Haiti

Restoration Gateway, Uganda- Support Orphan Ministry
Restoration Gateway is a community-wide restoration initiative in Northern Uganda birthed by God to see an entire community restored from Uganda’s destruction. In 2005, Tim & Janice McCall were given a vision for a Christ-centered community which would include housing for 300 orphan children, a hospital, a dental center, fisheries, agriculture and job skills training. To date, they have dug three wells, laid roads and built orphan homes housing 72 children, a 12-room school and multi-use gymnasium. Construction is on-going and both physical and spiritual restoration is happening in Uganda. One orphaned child can live on campus with house parents, go to school and receive love and care from the heart of God expressed by the people of God for $75 a month.
